Changing Ebay App Behavior

Hello,

Posting as a seller using the ebay app:

I just downloaded the ebay app today and would like to change some of the way it functions.  The reason I wanted to try the app is because I would like to be notified when my favorite searches have new listings posted.  But, when I am on my browser and click on ebay from my favorites list, I do NOT want the app to open by default because...

The app behaves differently; when I am in the app and I click on the icon for my account (the little head & shoulders on upper right of screen)... it does not take me to the list of links for selling, buying, watching, messages, etc.  Here is my question:

 >  Is there some way to set the app to ONLY open when I manually click to open it?  Not when I go the  ebay website from my phone's browser.

If when you tap on an eBay link in your browser you find that the app is opening by default, you can change this behavior using your device's settings manager.

Go to Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by default: Open supported links and choose "Don't allow app to open links".

That should ensure that browser links open in your browser rather than in the eBay app.
