Cannot open eBay app on my phone

Hey I am having troubles opening the app on my android phone I have tried uninstalling and installing again won't work I did that twice! I have switched my phone off n back on still won't work!! And I have restarted my phone again won't work I got no clue why it won't open

Me too! I have tried everything! Even installed phone system update. Everytime I open app it just closes immediately. Help!

What device and OS version are you using?

Perhaps there is a common factor among those having an issue.

In the mean time, try using a browser to go to ebay.com instead.

If browser links are redirected to the non-working app, go to Settings: Apps: eBay: Open Supported Links and choose "Do not open in the app" to keep links opening in your browser.

I just tried using the browser on my phone and it works....so just the app not working. 3rd day of app not working 😞 😞 😞

I am using Android version 11 on a Pixel 3 phone.

It looks to me like Ebay has disabled the app. Every time I try to open it, it takes me straight to the browser and opens Ebay there.  I do not like it one bit.

Version 6.9.5.7 of the eBay app is working for me on an old Motorola E4 using Android 7.1.

What version of the eBay app are you using? And what OS and device?

Ebay app will not open on android or ios and on multiple devices. Other apps work fine. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Gets to splash screen, can see the word Ebay and goes no further.
