I've never had the option to sell from within the Android app over my 3 phones, since Android 2.2 thrugh 6 to current 9. Also can't list from within the mobile site of the web site. The 'List an item' button is not on the selling screen, and I also can't edit existing listings, just end them. I'm now bothered by this as I'd like to make listings from the app. I tried to reach support and over back and forth emails, I just get 2 kinds of answers: 1) There is no issue with selling - clear cache, reinstall app, send screenshot 2) There's totally no way to list items from within the app, just use the desktop mode in the mobile browser (!?) Ebay's own help files state how easy it is to list items from within the app, and there are tons of tutorials on the web showing the button. I did some search here on communities and some people seem to have the same problem, in some cases possibly due to the country. I'm from Slovakia - am I for some stupid reason restricted from using the app to list items or is it just another of plenty eBay bugs?

In January 2020 I have no LIST AN ITEM button on my selling tab screen. **bleep**? How am I supposed to sell something?

Actually I have an update on this. After many, many repeated emails to eBay, they had confirmed the reason: it's the country. In the app, you need to have the country set to something where eBay directly operates, i.e. UK, US, Germany etc. If your country is set to something else, you can't make listings from the app directly. That said, if you set the country to something else than where you actually are, the shipping address and postage restrictions will be set to that country as well and that's not something you wanna do. So it's a catch 22 of sorts.

Thanks for your reply - that helps a lot. So the question is - WHY DOES EBAY LET US DOWNLOAD THE APP IN THAILAND? (not yelling at you, just eBay.)

We let all regions download the app as you can buy from everywhere. Selling is still limited to some countries.

Well first that's pretty pathetic of eBay, because apps really is where things have been happening for the last decade. I rarely use a computer anymore and when I do, I don't have a camera on it so I'd need to take the photos with my phone anyway (or with a camera) and transfer them to the computer to make a listing. Yea not even the mobile site allows to make listings. And no, using the desktop site on phone isn't a solution. It's just **bleep**. Ebay would do good to get on with the times already.
