Can’t log in to ios app suddenly

I was recently logged out of my ebay account on the ios app but every time I try to log in it just freezes on the sign in page but won’t let me go any further. Since this started I have updated the app twice but the problem still isn’t resolved. Is this happening to anyone else?

What version of the eBay app are you using?

Make sure it is the latest version for your operating system.

My app is updated to the latest update and my phone is running ios 14 so I shouldn’t be missing an update. Since the problem started I have been checking frequently in the app store to see if there is a new update available but there hasn’t been

Are you able to sign in using your email address instead of your username?
