Can you sign in using a browser? If so, the issue may be with your app.
Try uninstalling the eBay app, restarting your device, then installing the latest version of the eBay app.
If that does not help try reporting the issue by shaking your device while the app is active. That may work even if you are not signed in. If that does not work, contact eBay using a browser through the Help & Contact page.

Thanks, I updated ipad last night and I’ll see later. I did get in from browser, so may well be the app on ipad.
