Can’t access eBay app update

Unable to update new app as it says I need iOS 17 strange because I’ve been using iOS 15 for years and 17 is not available on my iPhone 6s and I won’t be buying a more expensive one just for eBay id rather change selling sites be much easier than trying to download something that’s impossible

How to update your eBay app

Requires Android 10 or better

Requires iOS 17 or better, but there are directions for iOS 16 users to download an older version of the app

If you cannot update to a compatible OS then you'll have to access eBay from a web browser on your device and you'll probably want to delete the app so links open in your browser instead of the app.

With an iPhone 6s you won't be able to update beyond iOS 15 which means you'll need to use the web browser.
