Bad!!!

Since the last update this app is terrible, search bar doesn't find anything and you have to go through categories to get close to what your actually looking for them scroll through 10+ pages to find what you want,

Thank you for the post. Can you please give us an example of some keywords you are using. And if you could share a screen shot of your search screen after you do the search.

As an example if I type in bmw E46 320D brake pads it says no matching searches yet if I go through the categories menu and narrow it down via that they come up with what I’m looking for, I’ve also used searches that I’ve used before but nothing comes up unless I go through the categories and sit there going through hundreds of items to find what I want

I also have an iPad that has not been updated for a while yet if I search using the search bar it works fine as it should

I also had a an iPad that I’m yet to update but the search function works perfectly on that as it did before the last 2-3 updates

Thanks for sharing that screen shot. We are still seeing results when trying that same search. If you pull down on the screen to refresh the search do results show up?

Could you try signing out of the app and searching again and see if that gives you results.

I have tried it as a guest I have also uninstalled and re-installed the app but that didn’t work I did just try refreshing the search but it’s still the same I also tried switching my handset off and on again but nothing seems to work

Thanks for trying that. If you do a more generic search does it work? Do you see autosuggest ideas show up when you type? If you do this in the mobile browser does it work?

Yes the auto suggest works until I click one then click search and it comes up with no products found again, I did try playing with the filters if I take it off “best match” then search it does seem work, downside is it shows more generic items that what I’m actually looking for

Thanks for all the extra details. Could you send us an email to iosfeedback@ebay.com. We would like to get a video you going through the categories menu and narrow it down, do you get to the right category and then do a sell all results and from there you can add keywords?
