Automatic draft creation - throws a wrench in or helpful?

I as a seller struggle with the automatic creation of drafts.

If a draft is created that seems fine. If a draft is created and I do not know it, then a wrench is thrown in to the works.

Knowing is everything. As a seller I might list a number of same or similar items.

But rather than listing I prefer to make up drafts a head of time so I can list at the time that is right/best.

If automatic drafts are created I did not know about I can end up with drafts ready to list for items I do not have and can not ship.  I have had that happen and it is a nightmare. You can end up searching for an item you do not have and then have to tell the buyer only to take a hit to your seller account AND get negative feedback.

All for something you did not do.

I would like to KNOW if a draft is saved.

The app crashing can create drafts also - who knew?

Perhaps listings saved in a crash should be save in their own folder?

Perhaps drafts being created should get a cancel/ok dialog box?

I like the app and appreciate the app team. Offering my 2 cents.

Thanks for the post and the bump. Draft are auto created when you start the listing in the app, this is why they would be saved in the case of a crash. We will send your feedback over to the selling team.

Thanks
