I have been using eBay for 19 years and am a loyal user. I now find the updated app is not supported by my phone! I deleted the app to update, losing my complete data history, only to find frustratingly that I cannot have the app unless I have a newer phone! There is nothing wrong with my phone so I refuse to discard just because yet another update had rendered another app useless! As an older user I find updates are discriminating against those who choose to retain a perfectly good phone. Lost a customer.

Instructions here: How to update your eBay app
- Requires Android 10 or later
- Requires iOS 17 or later, but there are directions for iOS 16 users to download an older version of the app
If you have iOS 15 or Android 9 and cannot update to a compatible OS, you can still access eBay from a web browser on your device, and you'll probably want to delete the app so links open in your browser instead of the app.

Thanks I found my browser ebay has old purchases and my old address on it. The app had all my data and it’s now gone leaving me with the circle of ‘email already in use’ name in use etc. seems I need to log in to access eBay, but so complicated I’ve lost the will. Thanks for your help.

Sign out of your old account and then sign back in using the username and password of your current account -- the one that you use with the app.

Don't create a whole new account. Just use the eBay account you already have associated with your app.
