App update

Same problem as a lot of people on here App wanted me to carry out an update couldn’t do it so deleted app to try and reload it  -now it won’t download because it needs an iPhone 17 or above.I have an iPhone 8

I refuse to be forced into buying a new phone so eBay you are now going to be losing thousands of customers unless you rectify this issue.

I need my older version back please or else I have to shop elsewhere….

According to the below post from an eBay rep, the UK stopped supporting older operating systems. Android 10 and iOS 17 appear to be the minimum operating system requirements for the eBay app in the UK.

If your device cannot upgrade the OS, you should still be able to access https://www.ebay.co.uk/ using a web browser on your device.

If links are automatically opening in the app you can change your settings and force them to open in your web browser, or you can delete the app which will default links to opening in your device's web browser.
