When I try to sign in, the buffering circle keeps spinning on and on. Eventually it goes back to the sign-in screen saying "Network error, please try again."

Been doing with no eBay app on the phone for 5days or so. Tried fresh upload this morning for the heck of it. Not sure what's different but its working. Glad it's over.

What Android operating system version are you using?
Try uninstalling the eBay app, restarting your phone, then installing the latest version of the eBay app from the Google Play Store. It should be version 6.55.0.7, at the moment.
The restart should ensure a clean install, so if the problem was your previous installation, that should help.

You said you tried reinstalling, but you did not mention restarting in between uninstalling and reinstalling.

Any yet, with 3 attempts - including shutdown between - still nothing.

I've tried uninstalling and reuploading the app, nothing changes.I can still get on with both the mobile site and main website on my phone's browser. It's just the app acting up.This all started around 11pm central on April 9th.No idea what needs done (I wouldn't presume to tell you how to do your job) but I figured I should let someone know there's a problem. I tried the email address listed on Google play and got back that it's unmonitored.
Hi @theonerider! I don't see where you mentioned the operating system you're using like @eburtonlab asked about. If it's older then you may run into issues and you can go here to learn more.

Thanks @theonerider! The mobile team said they're not seeing anything stand out at this point. They suggested trying to use the desktop version of the site to see if that triggers any kind of concerns that may be associated with your eBay account itself. Let us know how that goes and we'll take it from there.

I’ve been doing so since the 10th now and that seems to be working. The only odd thing is that it varies between the desktop and mobile site no matter what setting I’ve selected on my browser.
And that I’ve had to fight this page to post this answer (page grayed out and wouldn’t let me continue typing or send reply). This is my third attempt.

The desktop setting in a mobile browser should be maintained within the same browser tab. As long as you open links in the same tab, the page should remain in desktop mode. Links opened in new tabs will default to mobile mode, though. At least that is how it seems to work for me in Chrome.
