App crashing

The app started crashing about an hour ago when trying to open a message. I also did not receive message notifications from buyers or notifications from auctions ending that I was bidding on. I uninstalled and reinstalled and made sure the latest version was in use but no improvements from the new installation.

If you have an old version of Google Play Services or Google Play Store that may prevent you from getting the latest version; make sure you actually have 6.12.1.8 or later if your operating system supports it.

Try uninstalling the eBay app, then restarting your device before reinstalling to ensure a clean install.

If you cannot get the app to work, try using a browser to go to ebay.com instead.
