Android eBay app crashes when opening notification

For the past month or so, the eBay app for my Android phone crashes whenever I try to open it from a notification. It locks up my phone sort of and everything gets frozen until I can manage to get to the app and close it. The app seems to work fine if I open it from the icon in the menu though. Anyone else having this issue? Motorola G Power with Android 11 and all the latest updates of everything.

I have a Motorola G Power using Android 11, and I have not had any problems opening the eBay app from a notification.

Have you tried uninstalling the eBay app, restarting your phone, and then installing the latest version of the eBay app from the Google Play Store once again? The restart should ensure a clean install if the problem was with a previous installation.
