Can someone please update the app so that it doesn't turn off the sold and completed buttons when I search for something else? For instance, I search for something and then go to the filter and turn on completed and sold. Then I decide to search for something else and I have to go back to the filter and turn on the completed and sold filter again. A royal pain. Thanks.

You should be able to lock those filters settings in the eBay app.

First, under Filter go to the Customize option and enable Lockable Filters. Then when you select "sold" or "completed" tap the padlock icon to lock the setting and make that your default search behavior.
