Adding listing from Android app not functioning

Trying to add listings from ebay android app and unable to change pricing to buy it now only as leaves an auction price, but random auction price added.  also wont save pictures in drafts for then fixing on browser and when trying to revise listings with better photos, will not revise, just hangs in spinning wheel of thought.....

Same here.  The app is absolutely unusable at the moment for creating listings.

Photos don't stick when the listing is saved as draft.   Same for changes to title, description, or shipping options.  Sometimes the auction option is greyed on and it won't let you change it, other times it looks like it allows you to turn it off, but then in the main page the auction still shows as turned on.  Photos also won't upload to website when you try to list on computer and utilize "import from mobile" function.

In the unlikely event that all of the above seems to work properly, I am hit with the endless spinning wheel when I try to submit.  Backing out loses all of the changes to the draft and you're back to all of the other issues.

Restarting phone had no effect.  Deleting and re-installing app allowed me to list one item and I thought it was fixed, but the problems came back with the next listing.  I actually did this process a couple of times just to get a few done, but the third time I deleted and re-installed had no effect.

I am also having the same problems as jheitz57.  Have a Samsung Galaxy s10e. I am able to complete my drafts saved from my failed listings on my phone when I am on another device using the full website.

Same problem here! I have to transfer my photos to my computer to complete the listing, upload photos,  and list the item.  Slowing me way down and is frustrating! Please fix!

I'm having all of these same issues on my Android! It's really frustrating. This is usually a great app, please fix it soon!!

Same issue. Had to do listing though website instead

Glad to know I'm not alone on this! 

 I have found that a quick fix is to reboot your phone and close all other programs. It'll usually work for a couple listings, before going back to being broken. 

 It really sucks though, as it's a pain for me to try and do it all on my laptop.

Thanks for the reports. We are trying to get more details to troubleshoot this.

It sounds like there are two things happening

- Some changes are not sticking when you go to create your listing

- When you go to list there is an endless spinner.

• Are both of these happening for you?
• Which category are you listing in?
• Are you starting your issue from scratch? Sell one like this? or sell similar?

It when trying to sell similar and works when adding pictures and writing description and then go to turn off auction and do buy it now and doesn't work as shows like it still auction and then go to finalize listing and just hangs and never finalizes. I get the endless spinning wheel when I try to Submit but just keep spinning. App itself still works as can go back and etc. Draft also don't save. Definitely something wrong with app as does it on different phones. Using Android 12 with all patch current. Internet is fine does it in WifI and 5g makes no difference. 

It does it on both my android phones a S21 ultra and Asus ROG 5 same issue. Did uninstall and reinstall app and clear cache and same issue. It does it now on all pretty much.

I have also been getting the endless spinner when trying to revise an active listing, so I just tried to change the prices on a few listings in various categories.

Every item I try to revise in "Toys & Hobbies" (regardless of subcategory) results in an endless spinner.

Crafts - revision went through

Collectibles - revision went through

Books - revision went through.  This made me think I could work on a book draft I had almost ready to list.  Changed the shipping details, tried to list... endless spinner.  Backed out, went back in, fixed the shipping details again and this time saved as draft... shipping changes didn't stick.  Ugh.

Thanks for working on this.  Let me know if you'd like me to test anything else out on my end.

Yes, changes not sticking when saved as a draft with photos on Android app as phone is used to take the photos, and have to save as draft as spinning wheel of infinity is all that happens when trying to list from app....starting listings from scratch, listings are mostly cycling clothing/shoes and kids/mens/womens shoes and clothing.

I create my listings on the computer and save as draft.  Then I add the photos from the app on my phone.  When I select list I get the endless spinner.  When I back out,  the photos are not uploaded to my draft. I'm posting to Women's clothing,  shoes,  bags.

Having the same issue as @mrjones8a and others

When saving it as a draft or publishing the listing, the following happens randomly:

-some changes don't save

-endless spinner

Category: Video Games & Consoles > Video Games

Listings: Sell one like this/sell similar only ( don't do from scratch listings )

Exact same issues.  Not able to complete listing on android using Pixel 6.  I have also tried a Samsung tablet and the same issues are present there.    Tried the uninstall app and reinstall with no change.  App keeps spinning at the end.  Most of my listings are buy it now and the auction does stay on even when trying to unselect it.  Very frustrating.

I am having the same issues since last night.  Changes are not saved and updated.  Endless spinner when trying to list.  On WiFi, Samsung Galaxy S9.  Was off for a week, so problems started on May 2 and into today.  Have tried all of the same fixes.  Phone shut down, uninstall, reinstall.  Listing is at a complete standstill.
