When I updated the app I could no longer find options for changing the listing durations. Help!

In order to allow sellers to list faster on mobile, we are testing the removal of duration options. Our data shows that longer durations perform better, provide more buyer predictability, and index more easily in search engines. This test will ensure that you are listing in a way that gives you the best chance to sell. While not recommended, you can still end and relist items on a shorter timeframe if needed. Thanks!

Re: Listing duration

This "enhancement" is ridiculous. PLEASE add duration back to the mobile app.

Re: Listing duration

Please bring back the duration option!! Is there a way to revert back to old app?

Re: Listing duration

That is a horrible idea. What eBay is continuing to pursue is a course that allows them to control sellers. I chose to roll back to an earlier version of the app.

Re: Listing duration

Please add duration back in the app.  It is obsurd. I do not like Good Til Cancelled.  I want to chose my own duration.  It seems like everytime there is an update there are more problems.  And this is the worse.  You can't even revise the listing and change the duration.  Such a powerful and wealthy company can't even make a good app.  The old one was great. Please revert back to the app that was here a year ago.

Re: Listing duration

Dear Sandyoutlet...if you wield any influence at all, please act as our ambassador and roll back the app change. While the photo upload was more convenient, the disadvantages FAR outweigh the singular advantage. I'm STILL trying to undo the listing changes that were applied by default in the update.

Re: Listing duration

When I list on mobile there is no place that tells me I am agreeing to good til cancelled.  I only can tell when I look at the item and not even then as sometimes it says 30 days if it’s a relist.  Then boom I get an email saying it was re listed automatically.  And I am charged 35 cents.  No.  I didn’t agree to that charge. And I NEVER want good til cancelled. And now today I get an email saying accept offers has been added to a book I have listed.  Well, no.  If I wanted that I would have added it.    When I called support the other day they say they don’t know if these issues are a glitch or a feature.  They suggest I don’t list using the app.   An app that Customer service advises customers to not use.

Re: Listing duration

Actually I can’t end item and relist at shorter time period.  Relisting on the app means it is listed as good til cancelled.    No matter what is was before.  If it was 30 days and you try to relist it is now good til cancelled.  And it doesn’t let you know that until it is live.  Seems dishonest.
