Greetings to the group. First time here. Not really a militaria collector although wouldn't mind being one at all! I acquired this piece along with another piece I bought and haven't a clue what it is. But someone suggested it may be some type of trench art. So taking a chance although it looks to "finished" to be a handmade piece. It's about 5 1/2" ht., 3 1/8" diameter. That center piece is attached to a long straight screw that screws into the round bottom piece, which is removable. The holes are the tops of long metal tubes. There are no markings at all except for the chain pin closure, which bears a metal tag that reads "Made in Italy." Any advice, info or remarks are greatly appeciated!
