Tax exempt?

Hi, the seller update says resellers can submit their resale certificate so as not to pay sales tax on eBay purchases. But, I read some posts that says this is only for charitable organizations. Can you tell me if it’s for resellers or only charitable organizations? Thank you.

Tax exempt?

It is not.  It is for all of us that have valid resaler certificates for our respective states.

You just need to fill out the paperwork and file it with Ebay.  The link was in the Seller Update.

That was my bad, I initially misread the notice. I've since posted the correction, but unfortunately  I have no way to go back and change the original post.
