Vintage Taxco silver link bracelet.
At first glance, it appears to be Margot de Taxco. The only sterling mark is on the clasp. This was my grandmother's, and my mom insisted that it was a necklace originally. It was too heavy, so she turned it into a bracelet. Those removed pieces are lost, and so am I. I did notice the link connectors appear "early." The later ones were a bit more styled and sturdier. 8"
48 grams. Any suggestions?

So I did a google image search and it appears an identical one sold on Etsy but the seller did not really provide much details other than they thought it was from the 1960s

Thank you for that. I've never seen an identical one.

That's a beautiful bracelet. The one on Etsy sold too cheap IMHO. It does have some damage though. Also, I could not find a date that it was sold. Perhaps it was a while ago. With the high inflation that we've had over the last few years, I would expect your bracelet to go a little higher.

Yeah on Etsy there is no way to see the sold date unless you are the buyer or seller. You can, however, see the listed date, in this case May 24,2024, so it definitely wasn't sitting for sale for years.
