Thinning out my jewelry collection and this sterling necklace has not been worn in years so needs to go. I have been unable to identify the type of link so any help would be appreciated. It does have a push clasp and is flat.
Thanks in advance,

This link may help you ID your chain.

Great site! But none of them are close to my necklace. I don't think a local jeweler would be able to identify it. Any idea where else I can look?
Thanks,

It maybe a variation of a chain. I thought it looked close to a type of wheat chain. But since I don't have the chain in hand it is hard to tell from a picture. I looked through one of my jewelry supply catalogs that I use for identifying items, but didn't find an exact match according to your picture.

From what I can tell, it looks to be either a variation of a herringbone, or perhaps a palma or wheat...

Personally I would define it as a TORQUE chain....many artisan variations as they attempt to create their own style in handmade jewelry.
