Need Help with a sterling mark!

I have a pair of these earrings and wonder if they might be Native American.

I saw some Kachina dancers that looked similar, but not quite the same.

This is marked with a copyright symbol,  the word STERLING, and then some kind of a hallmark.

It almost looks like a cursive capital letter L

Does anyone have any idea about who this maker might be?

Interesting. It looks similar to the symbol on the earrings I want to identify, except mine is stamped 925 (for the silver) instead of the word silver. I wonder if that means one is older than another? I could not find the symbol in any of the Amerindian hallmark sites. I can't get as clear a photo as you, but your symbol looks like mine.

This is the similar hallmark. Sorry, I can't get a clear photo, but it looks more like it looking at it in person as opposed to my bad pic.
