Yes, actual old dishes and all silver everywhere else. Matching earrings.  Very well made. Must be Navajo but I cannot find another like it or an Harv. E. Hallmark. Any input appreciated.

I believe the artist is Elise Renault.  Here is a link to her Fred Harvey line of jewelry ... which, as you suspected, is made from old discarded railroad china.

Cool stuff.  I think your necklace is shown near the bottom of the group of item photos in that link.

Wow! That's stunning what a piece of art. Need to find this artisan, I cannot locate Harv. E. anywhere but possible he's not Navajo.  I did find an artisan that does Similar work from Colorado.  I'll look further tomorrow as it's bedtime for me!

Re: Navajo Jewelry ID help needed

Thank you. I've searched over quite some time myself without finding much of a lead. Of course there was a man, Fred Harvey, and his company in the 19th thru early to mid 20th, railroad stop dining business as well as jewelry. Native made for tourists, not always in traditional style. But that company ended with death of his grandson in 1965. I think the plate pieces could date before '65. Searching the bits and pieces have not returned a clear result on dish pattern for me. And the silver rabbit is definitely Navajo.

I do think your on to something.  First, I hope you and your family are safe from that terrible outbreak of storms.

I researched everywhere for this artist and if he exists he's is incognito. All roads are leading back to Fred Harvey and the Santa Fe RR restaurants that he started. Here is a link to some patterns

https://rwcn-idwiki-2.restaurantwarecollectors.com/content/fred-harvey-mimbreno/

I think your artisan Harv.E. is a more recent artist who is using old mcm RR dishes and playing off the name of Harvey. That stampage used is more recent as well.

I remember reading about the Harvey girls and these diners Harvey House, very famous.

Let me " phone" a friend @mr_lincoln he deals with RR stuff and maybe knows someone that can ID this Pueblo style diner ware, Santa Fe RR mid century.

ie: Harvey house, Mimbreno patterns.

My sincere thanks for the tag ... I come up empty on this one but I suspect its more of a modern day Jewler since the lettering on the back is stamped extremely clear with virtually no worn spots.  Most likely a locally known individual in their area.

Oh my. That's it! You all are terrific. I'll email Elise. The dishes. For the longest time I kept feeling familiarity, finally dismissed it as just wanting to recognize it. Now I know I'd seen them over the years. Reading up on the woman who designed the dish pattern, she sounds like a very interesting character.
