I sold my engagement ring to buyer. After more than a month, he claims center stone not real or certified.
My family owns jewelry store and ring was inspected. Also, took to another jeweler for an appraisal. I have both the appraisal from the other jeweler and certification papers.
Any advice on how to handle this?

Alright, let's give our O P the best advice we can.
Yes @letsebuynow , you can return the item but you're going to receive a switched stone on your ring. Buyer is telling you; center Diamond is not real, what else you think is going to happen?
PayPal and C C Co. are Buyer's attorneys. They act on behalf of Buyer. Buyer waited more than 30 days, so he could go around eBay. He feels more confident having his C C Co. as judge and jury. That's a perfect scenario for you because you don't have to chase him. Your target will be the bigger companies which didn't listen to you and favored their client. So, you've nothing to worry about.

Is your buyer claiming a SNAD?
If so don't let ebay step in, send buyer a return label on your dime and when it's returned issue refund and pray it's the same ring and not a box of rocks. That's all I got, you can't fight this, it's evil.

Who are you to judge me? I have all the proof to back this up. I am the one that's getting the bad rep? Really?

That's what I bet will happen. It took buyer over 30 days to claim it's not real. Enough time to replace with a box of rocks. I am not accepting the return. I won't let them screw me over. I cannot take a loss for their evil scheme.
Based on instinct, I should not have sold to this buyer. Something just felt off and he was so intent on buying this ring.
The community doesn't personally know me. But anyone will tell you I'm the most loyal, honest, genuine person you will meet. And I will admit to my mistakes!
So. I am taking this personally on so many levels.

Last message wasn't aimed at community, just the buyer. Whose name will not/ cannot be mentioned, I assume.

I truly believe you but if you don't accept this return when the buyer starts one and ebay steps in now buyer has your ring and their refund.
Now you did say buyer announced this over 30 days ago? And hasn't filed a SNAD? That's passed the MBG from ebay but buyer can still go thru his payment source, Credit card and do a chargeback. If that happens, it's usually toast.
Q: did you send that buyer the paperwork about your diamond? Is it all possible to work with this buyer or do you think they are fishing for a partial refund?

You've two written appraisals and we know the stone is real. Don't attempt any returns because you might receive your ring with a switched center stone. Let's stay positive. We assume: Buyer may have been given false information. Or this might be a case of Buyer's Remorse.
It seems you're communicating with the Buyer and you're in a good relations. Send out a copy of your two appraisals and let the Buyer know, assure her, she has been misinformed and center diamond is real.
Since it has been more than a month, so, time for eBay's 30 day Money Back Guarantee has expired. You're cleared by eBay. You don't have to return anything. However doors are still open for case to be opened by PayPal or Bank cards.
It is important for Buyer to have a copy of both appraisals. Ask Buyer to take the ring to a certified appraiser and show your appraisals to that person and compare notes inspecting the ring. Furthermore, ask Buyer if she has left the ring somewhere with a Jeweler for any repairs or sizings.
This is going to be a bit messy but you need to stay calm and cool. Your two independent appraisals are going to be key evidence. Anyone contacts you, PayPal or C C Co., let them know: diamond has been double certified and you don't want to receive a switched stone.

Sorry, have nothing new to offer to the OP. My recommendation would be that s/he agree to accept the return. And if it's been more than 30 days, they have blown their chance to open an item not as described with eBay, but can still go to Paypal (180 days) or their credit card (varies, sometimes 180 days).
ETA: I see that this sale was in late February.

Have they opened a case on eBay? If so you can't fight it. You need to provide a return label and refund when it's returned and pray you get your ring with the same stone in it.
I would be tempted to tell them to return it even if they didn't open a case on eBay. Reason why is they can dispute the charge with their credit card and they'll get a refund and not have to return the ring, especially if they can show their cc they tried to get you to take it back because it was not as described and you wouldn't refund or let you return it.
This is how scammers legally steal your ring.
The first rule here is never sell something here you can't afford to lose.

No subject isn't derailed..yet.
The OP is very angry and can't blame them. But we are all trying to assist OP and they need to come back and answer some Questions before this sale turns south.

Agree totally, this scenario is about to get ugly real fast. Apparently the buyer has not filed a NAD and it's been over 30 days. Buyer just messaged OP about the diamond and questioning it's authenticity. OP has certifications proving it's real.
We are waiting for OP to return to answer questions.
