Would you discribe this as just a faux pearl or faux mabe pearl?

I have been having trouble trying to find a good discription for the faux pearl in the middle of this brooch. I have seen it described as a mabe pearl and a faux pearl. It is actually a pearl coated plastic piece, so I was leaning to just faux pearl....

I Don’t believe the maker is Gerochristo nor Konstantino , but the style is very similar. It is in fact sterling silver and 18 karat gold with that precious gemstones. Just trying to find some additional information if anyone could help please.
