As “paste” is glass, did you mean to ask whether it’s a natural stone versus glass?  If so, my best guess without seeing it in person would be glass.  It does look Asian-made to me, but no idea about the “TH” mark.  As to age, I’d say sometime in this century.

I have a couple of pieces marked 925 TH and agree with Sarah about them coming from Thailand.  I believe it was identified as coming from there years ago on the old board.  As for the stone, I would check it very closely for air bubbles, if present the stone is glass, if no air bubbles, I would have it checked.  

Though the beauty may be in the butterfly, the struggle and growth occur in the cocoon.
