First, a shout out to Sandy whose site I refer to a thousand times a week for all the helpful information it provides! Your work in keeping up that site is appreciated!
Now for the question(s)... The clear and black beads are acrylic. I thought the black part was on the raised ridges but it's actually a black line that goes through the center of the bead. It's an interesting optical effect. Also, how would you describe the shape of the beads, especially the elongated ones that are bulbous at the bottom? Crystal AB bi-cone beads are stationed between the acrylic beads. The necklace has a simple hook closure. It has a Deco look to it. Thanks for any help!

Very cool!
Style reminds me of something Vendome I saw somewhere. The elongated beads kind look a bit like a Briolettes.

It really does look like a Vendome piece; I'd bet there was a hang tag on the end that's gone missing.

Great thought, you two! I've always been drawn to Vendome for their unusual stones and settings. You could very well be right, but it will have to be listed as unsigned. Thanks for the help!

Very cool necklace! How about gourd shaped beads?

Thank you for the compliment Dream. That site really was a collaboration of the people on the old jewelry board. I try to pick up new dangles from the things that are identified here on this board.
As for your necklace, it is beautiful. The beads are really unique. The black looks to be encased in the clear acrylic. This also reminds me of some of the old West German pieces. I like the description of gourd shape for the elongated beads. The black enameled bead caps really set the whole necklace off.

liwa, thank you for the gourd suggestion. I think I'll use that in my description 😀.
Sandy - encased! That's the word I was trying to pull out of my feeble memory. Thanks!
