Makers mark or owner?

This lovely Native American sterling silver bracelet is marked "R Shezlea" (Sp?).  Do you think this is a maker's mark or just the owner/recipient of the bracelet? My opinion is that someone had their initials engraved on the bracelet. Does not look professionally signed. But that is my opinion. What do ya'll think? Thank you all in advance. Love this forum!!!1 009.jpg1 013.jpg

I tend to believe it's the artist signature.  I didn't find it at first glance, but you might want to check here if you haven't already:  http://www.art-amerindien.com/hallmarks/s-american-indian-jewelry-marks.htm  Quite a few signatures are hand inscribed.  Beautiful bracelet!

Thank you so much for info (Will check it out) and compliment. Can you read the signature? I can make out 'SHEZ' but not sure of the rest.

I'm afraid I can't get beyond the "z" myself.  I think the bracelet is Zuni, by the way.

That is definitely the maker. I have a slave bracelet hand signed by the artist this same way.

"Free" shipping is like "free" kittens. Ain't no such thing.
