Is there a specific name for the coating on these stones?

I've just always called these oil slick stones but is there perhaps a better descriptor?

I second Carnival Glass.

Karen, I was searching something for Mermaid & stumbled across these  sold earrings by Laguna. Says necklace had paper tag

They sure look like your bracelet!  Color might be a bit different but same design.  I bet your bracelet is  Laguna also

Whoa Sarah--those look exactly like the sets in my bracelet.  You do run into the most interesting things!!  Thanks so much for letting me know--mine probably are Laguna and I will do more research in that area.
