Been on google and looking at Moonstone Specimens. Boy is it confusing. I found this page which might explain why I saw MOP.

Thank you , I have learned something new here today . I have never seen the very vintage moonstones I guess . Or maybe I was drawn to the color in the "Rainbow" ones . I have never even heard of " White Labradorite " . Off to research it . This company Simmons was started in 1885 according to Illusion Jewels . This may very well be vintage moonstones . Very interesting .

Carolyn, no need to be sorry.  You gave what you thought was a true identification. 

Check your stones with a loop.  I think I see air bubbles in one of the stones.  If there are air bubbles then these are glass stones.  It could be inclusions as well.  I can't tell for sure, but you should be able to tell one way or another since you have it in hand.

Ooooh I agree with Sandy . Some of the close ups look like they have air bubbles .

Not sure but it looks like not all stones are the same type?

They appear to be the same and no air bubbles. I see why MOP would be an option but they are clearer in parts and I didn't think MOP would look that clear. hmmm

is it moonglow , that would be glass or faux moonstone, maybe white or milky quartz ?
