I don't know if that's a brand name or generic name; earrings are not signed but certainly look like Spuds Mackenzie as opposed to any other bulldog.

No.
Frequently Asked Questions
I want to sell a t-shirt that looks like an Adidas shirt. Can I put "Adidas" in the listing?
No, because you're not selling an Adidas t-shirt. Including it would be both misleading to buyers and a breach of that brand's trademark. This is a search manipulation tactic called keyword spamming, where brand names or other inappropriate keywords are added to a listing's title or description to attract buyers.

Thanks for your quick response.
I was pretty sure I couldn't and shouldn't use it - just wanted confirmation:)

Spuds McKenzie is a character from the late 1980s. Anyone born near that time or after wouldn't get a reference to Spuds anyway.
