There should be a small white label inside the interior pocket buried lower left of the pocket. Please try to photograph that label and the writing on it.
Perfect! It's a genuine pebbled leather city tote and was made in 2015.
From what I've gleaned from years of research, it's my belief that the "M" at the end of the style number indicates that the bag was an exclusive made for Macy's. Although the style may have been sold in other stores and in similar colors, this particular bag appears to have come from Macy's.
