Help authenticating a Louis Vuitton Bag?

Hi Everyone!

I am hoping someone can help me figure out whether or not this is an authentic Louis Vuitton bag. I purchased it at an estate sale for $25 dollars and decided to take a gamble, but I am far from a professional.

Observations that made me think it could be authentic: patina on the leather is dark which matches the smell. It smells like it has been sitting in a person's house for a LONG time (iykyk). The feel of the leather and structure of the bag feels very luxurious and soft. The bag is old so the stitching in some places is coming out but in most areas the stitching looks well done, although small. I am trying to compare to my other authentic bag, but if this one is authentic it must be pre 1980s (no heat stamp or code), so I don't know if there are differences. Back of the leather tabs are rough.

Observations that raise significant red flags: The hardware is silver (unsure if aged brass would eventually turn silver? Or if previous owner had alterations made at a cobbler because no logo on the hardware. No heat stamp or code. The canvas seems a bit dull but it does need a good cleaning. For these reasons, I do think it's a replica but i'm curious to hear everyone's thoughts!

It doesn't appear to be FC and based on the alignment, it looks off to me BUT - please seek an opinion from someone who knows vintage LV very well. Try Authentic Street on FB, she is an expert in vintage LV and it's only like 5 bucks.
