Coach Station Bag Authentic?

Hello, I purchased a Coach Station "re-issue" bag from a seller.  They said it is from 10-15 years ago.  There are a few things that I am not sure about and make me wonder if it is authentic?  The creed inside reads "This is a Coach bag.  It was handcrafted in China of completely natural glove tanned cowhide.  The variations in the grain are characteristic of natural full grain leather".  No. A1273-05130.  I am not sure about the 0 in front of the 05130 numbers.  The hang tag edges appear to have a vinyl? plastic like edge and the edges of the strap also have a coating on the edges.  There is a "Made in China" tag on the inside (nothing marked on the backside of tag).  The hardware is brass but I am also not sure about it?  I would like to know if it actually a re-issue from Coach?  Thank you

Its authentic. Coach added that 0 for some reason, maybe to signify its a remake. The edges have edge coating on them. Its prone to crack and fray and Many do not like it.

Coach added the "0" in front of 4-digit styles in order to conform to the 5-digit style number format at the time it was made. It's not "signifying" anything about the bag being a remake.

The 'Significant' issue has been resolved here. The bag is authentic so I have answered the OP's question which is the important thing, and her answer about the edge coat issue.

I'm sorry. I thought you were all about providing accurate and correct information. Now you only want to answer the authenticity question? Okkkkaaayyyy.

Well I was accurately addressing the OP's concern stated as "I am not sure about the 0 in front of the 05130 numbers" and explaining correctly why there's a "0" making the style number 5 digits.

FYI, I addressed the edge coat and authenticity issue, so yes I give thorough and concise information that the OP asked for, not just authenticity which I did for her. Seems you collect more info about me than is rational? My mission here is to help OP's with issues, not collect info about other posters.

Thanks for all the input.  It is good to know that it is authentic.  There is definitely a difference in the quality with this bag and an original Coach Station that I have owned since the 90's.  My original was made in the USA and the craftsmanship is definitely better 🙂

There is no question that the older bags were better in materials, construction etc.
