I have an issue here.
I'm usually very good with knowing the difference between real and fake and
this vintage gucci scarf seemed good to me. But for some reason it got pulled.
I would like to get the boards opinion on it before I bother to have it "professionally" authenticated.
So, any help would be greatly appreciated.
22" x 22" ~ rolled edging ~ no care tag
Thanks!

We can form a "Kicking Ourselves Club". Still curious which way it rolls...

Thanks as that would have been an obvious tell that I missed. Couldn't tell on my small screen.

Don’t be too hard on yourselves, ladies! Gucci really hasn’t made it easy by using several different script signatures, but they do seem to have followed the same tradition for those 2 originally used on Accornero scarves (both the curved-top G & looped G), i.e. always in a ticket/frame of some kind, not printed directly on the scarf background or border, e.g.
Curved-top G: Accornero Fungi 1967 — Corals 1968 — Nautical Elements 2015:-
Looped-G: Accornero Flora 1966 — Flora Light Infinity 2015 — Flora Garden 2015:-
They’ve also incorporated a script signature in vines on the bamboo flowers scarf, 2015:-
And hand-printed (artist-style) in caps on their latest:-
What I’ve never seen on any authentic original is both a hand-written signature in the graphic + Gucci logo on the border. It’s only one or the other, not both printed on the same scarf — but both are commonly used on fakes (often with the 'logo" in a weird squared font never used by Gucci).

So when is the guide coming?

Don't know if Gucci is the same, but Hermes rolls to the front: http://eluxemagazine.com/fashion/how-to-spot-a-fake-hermes-scarf/
Gucci doesn't roll to the front.
