Women's Clothing > Sweats & Hoodies

                       VS

Women's Clothing > Pants

Which category have you personally listed your sweatpants under?

Yes, I know you can 'enter your own' under the style section for each category. 

So you put your listing under Sweats & Hoodies, do you choose Track & sweatpants...then in your listing description describe the style of sweatpants (boyfriend, jogger, etc)? Or do you 'enter your own' under the style tab itself? Or both?

I don't know what the experts will tell you but I will tell you from my experience shopping for clothing items. Ebay is defaulting some search categories. So I was searching for womens Izod shorts but Ebay kept changing my "all categories" to shorts. Which may sound fine but some of the shorts I wanted to look at were in "sports clothing" or some similar wording. So my suggestion is to search for the keywords for whatever you're hoping to sell like womens Nike sweatpants large and see what the category is that pops up.

I hate it when sellers go to all the effort of listing something then Ebay arbitrarily changes the search criteria for the buyer without letting them know.
