Help authenticate a Chanel scarf

My seller ensures me it is an genuine Chanel scarf bought from Paris years ago , but the scarf has no box , no receipt. Basically no form of authentication .

It is (apparently) 100% silk and Made in France , with hand rolled edges. But I thought the Chanel scarves are made in Italy?

Please if anyone could offer me advice , I want to buy this scarf as a present .

Hand rolled edges ?Hand rolled edges ?

Sorry but absolutely positively counterfeit. Chanel has never used a serif font. (Tails on letters).

It was that writing that caught my eye immediately , a good job I asked the seller to send me more pictures !! Thank you for confirming my suspicions 🙂

Your seller may have bought the scarf in Paris, but she certainly didn't buy from Chanel or from a legit retailer.

If you already bought, file a snad dispute choosing "not authentic "as the reason. If you haven't bought yet, don't!

You can definitely buy these in Paris - lots of street vendors have them! But it's 100% not authentic, as other well-informed posters have informed you. Paris is full of counterfeits, as are most cities in the world.

Vanessa
