EBAY LISTING PRICES ARE MISLEADING AND/OR FALSE IN SOME CASES - CHANGE THE RULE!

eBay listing prices for clothing and other items often post only their lowest selling price for clothing that depends on size and/or color, etc.  This wastes the time of prospective buyers.  Sellers should (as most do) list a price range (ex:  From $1 to $100.00) instead of their lowest price.  Often those sellers do not even stock items at their lowest listed price, only more expensive ones/sizes/colors.

Time to clean up your act, ebay.  This is not honest, clear advertising and only wastes time and disappoints prospective ebay buyers.

It has been that way since variations were introduced in the listings. Some sellers even add a lower priced item of questionable relevance to their listings.

Whether to use variations is an arguable decision. Particularly in crowded categories like women's clothing, and if you are not paying for promotion. The question is why create a single point of visibility in search results for multiple items. Opinions differ.

Ebay should by default show the highest price. Issue solved.
