Coach style name and correct hardware?

Good evening oh wise ones. I have an older Coach bag-beige with British tan tone trim, Serial # 023-8188. It's 10-1/2" Wide, 8" tall and about 2" deep. I am wondering the name of this bag...maybe some spectator variety?

Also, its clasp which is pull button type has an odd male clentch on the body of the bag. I have other bags with the button closure and they all are what they call "Chicago Screw" type- two part brass closures. The ones I'm used to have the female button which has 2 parts and it attatches to the leather from both sides with a screw type fastening action. Then there is the male parts that attatch to the body of the bag, which the button parts attatch to to close the bag. They have holes in them on both sides for a tool to fasten them. THIS bag I am trying to identify the name of here has an Odd male tastener with 2 prongs and a metal tab that it secures it to body on the inside. The female button part looks normal. I am including pictures of both styles, the all brass 2 part on a binocular bag I have and the odd ones on the bag in question. Does that all make any sense? It closes fine, thats the wierd thing. Thanks for your help in advance, I'm including pictures.

Re: Coach style name and correct hardware?

The purse is a genuine Roll Bag Spectator from around 1991, style number 6887. The lock was called a Springlock. I dont know any details on that style of lock, but you might be able to ask about it at "another" forum. If you Google "vintage coach photos and chat" in just those words you should find a purse-forum that can give you whatever information you need.
