I wouldn’t worry about it. There’s really no way to authenticate Cardin as he licensed his name to everyone and their brother. Value isn’t great on the licensed stuff which is what yours is so just go ahead and sell it. Since he recently passed it’s probably a good time to list Cardin for those that do collect it.
