Any solutions for removing stains from silk ties?

Looking for a simple solution for removing stains from Silk Ties. Or should they be brought to a dry cleaner and can they remove them? I've searched on Google and can't seem to find a solution for stains on silk.

A little white vinegar and water..lay a cloth under the stain when you clean it, then pat it dry..
