Earlier today at a garage sale, I stumbled upon a few PS1 games- "PGA Tour 98" and two copies of "Madden NFL 98". The PGA game is undeniably valueless- case is all dirty and scratched, and it's even missing the front artwork/manual. As for the Madden games, one copy of the game was the green "Greatest Hits" collection rerelease, released in 1998 I guess, which is open and has a broken jewel case hinge, but the other copy is not only one of the original "black label" versions of the game, it happens to still be sealed in its original shrink wrapping from when it was in the store. Of course, it's not in flawless condition. The wrapping is a little bit teared in parts of it, and it has a ripped price tag on it as well as a circular one which I assume was put on there by the garage sale owner(s). Still, this seems like something which would be fairly worthwhile as a collectors item- it's obvious that most of these games have sold millions of copies, and the majority of those copies were probably opened, so this seems like it may be at least somewhat rare and valuable. So does anybody have any idea how much an item like this would be worth? Does it depend considerably on the condition of the item??
(Tl;dr- Roughly how much would a sealed copy of "Madden NFL '98" with slight wear on it be worth?)
Much obliged,
~Tristan
