Shipping Address

Since when has Ebay found it acceptable to let sellers question a buyers shipping address, Even though the buyer is a top rated buyer. I live in a very rural area and even though I verified my address with the seller "they did not feel COMFORTABLE sending to my address. I'm sorry but I would not be able to make a purchase with if Paypal did not verify my address connected with my accounts. This is exactly why I have not made as many purchase as I once did with Ebay. Last seller, after I purchased an item  just refunded money, stating item no longer available.  Then why was it listed in an auction.

Thanks Ebay for making it next to impossible to get any type of help.

Actually, if you talk to eBay through Facebook, they are quite helpful and answer reasonable quickly.

Now, that being said, it sounds like you are picking some really bad sellers.     They are covered by eBay as long as your address is verified (and I think it has to be), so this is weird and not the norm.

If that happens again, come back please.  Give us more details.  I'd like to know what's going on.

Hi @kipa4770 ,

I have to admit that is somewhat surprising ... I typically pack, label and ship and only occasionally look at an address prior to printing a label but that's more to see what State the customer is from, not their street or rural route address.  As to Buyer's being "top rated", well, in 2008 eBay stopped letting Sellers leave less than Positive Feedback for Buyers which basically means EVERY Buyer has a 100% Positive Feedback rating.

As @divwido mentioned, if this happens again please return and provide more details.

Mr. L
