Report eBay, and seller to FBI and USPS for fraud and aiding fraud.

I purchased 2 microSD memory cards. One in March, and one in April. When I received the April card I immediately installed it in my Samsung Galaxy and transferred  many apps over to the SDcard to free up system memory. I then noticed that some apps did not have an icon and most all of them would not work.

So, I checked the card with a program called h2testw and it revealed that the card was not 64GB as advertised but only 8GB, I contacted the seller and he refunded my money.

I then checked the card I bought in April, and it too was a fake. I asked for a refund, but seller declined and eBay would not refund me because too much time had passed.

I did not give up, I contacted eBay a number of times and complained, when I told a representative on the phone that this seller was selling fake cards and had sold over 14,000 of them, she did not seemed alarmed what-so-ever.  She simply told me to call PayPal to try get back my money. To this day  the seller is still selling fake cards and eBay is doing nothing about it. He has now sold over 17,000 cards.

Anyone who has purchased a microSD card from him needs to download the test program h2testw and test your cards. If they are not the capacity that say they are in file manager, then they have been altered to read out more memory capacity than they actually have. The Chinese have been doing this for years and eBay could c are less as long as they are getting money.

My suggestion is, stop buying from China. Find better quality products from reputable sellers here in the U.S.A.

If he has sold 17,000 of these cards, some of them may be the right size, else he would have been booted from Ebay by now.

If so, then I question his source , he may not know he is buying fake cards.

I wonder what does Ebay have to gain by encouraging Chinese sellers t o sell on Ebay as they are not buying from us?

The Chinese do not have a good reputation on Ebay as sellers so it makes Ebay look bad .

I completely agree. I am now buying my memory from B&H Photo. They have surprisingly good everyday prices. But, it still makes me mad when eBay does not do more to catch these theives.

Both cards I bought were fake. Most people won't catch it because the FAT falsly reports files as being recorded. I thought that missing parts of a song were simply a transfer or ripping problem until I checked into it.

Yep. I bought 5 MP3 players 4 years ago and all but one had been tampered with. However, I did get my money back and I kept the MP3 player, so it hurt them for cheating. This guy is refuysing to refund my money on one card because I didn't catch it soon enough.

I told him what was going on, and I even mailed back to him one of the cards so he could test it himself. I never got a response. He probably resold the card.

I know he knows because he immediately refunded me for the first card and never asked for the card back. That tells me that he is not concerned with knowing if the card was fake because he already knows.

Ebay relies on buyers to tell them with their feedbacks, and defects.

Some of his items must be authentic and working, else he would have been booted long ago.

I also bought an SD card from China, or a chinese person, whatever. recently. I never received my item and had paid, took forever to get my money back via paypal. ebay said they refunded me but never did.....

I am starting to have a hard time trusting ebay. They need to moniter IP addresses so these scammers can't just make a new account the next day and rip off the next guy.
