As a buyer I wish to draw attention to the misuse of an otherwise good feature of Ebay. Multiple-choice options on any given sale are a good idea when there are several colors, lengths, or minor parameters of an item to choose from. Choice of more than one item (amount of items) to purchase is also good. Used for something akin to low-ball or bait-and-switch, these options are a nuisance.
For instance, for a "dk motor shield" (Arduino component) search with 'buy-it-now', 'free shipping', and 'lowest price' search options, I am greeted by a useless and time-consuming half-dozen multiple choice results starting at $2.50 for the USB cord up to $x.xx for a variety of (mostly) inappropriate other items. The benefit of an Ebay search is thus defeated, and my time and effort wasted by having to further sort out useless items to find what I want.
Better to split this sale up into individual items with proper searchable descriptions; and please, no more low-ball "USB cord only" options as a come-on.
