Fake gpu

I have been watching and buying GPU's for years.

I have seen the scams and hacked accounts morph over the years.

There is a new breed of scammer.

Sell a printed image of the gpu for same price as the real gpu.

Sell a printed image of the gpu for same price as the real gpu but give 40% to charity.

I'm sure EBay will say it's their right to sell an image.

I'm sure EBay will say it's buyers right to buy it.

I'm sure the legal team will say nuttin U can do.

  But Ebay could sure save itself alot of trouble and loss of money by shutting them down.

This continued farce wiil only upset buyers and further taint the buyer from regular business on EBay.

Loss of funds for EBay and buyers moving to other venues.

  It's really sad.

1. All items must be listed in the appropriate category. If a printed picture is listed in the category for GPUs, that is a violation of eBay policy.
   
   
2. If a buyer doesn't receive what they expected, then they can file a case for Item Not as Described (INAD). eBay will make sure they receive a full refund. eBay takes the buyer's word for it, and decides cases based on the reason the buyer selected when they open the case. This applies if they bought something that was listed in the GPU category, but received a printed picture, no matter what the description said in small print.
   
   
3. Buyers need to read the descriptions before they make a purchase. But even if they don't, they have options if they purchased a deceptive listing. 
   
   
4. This isn't new. I remember a case on the Judge Judy reality TV show, must have been 10 or 15 years ago. Judge Judy was caustic, the buyer won, and the seller smirked because she probably got paid more for being on the TV show than she had lost.

I think I remember that one - a scam listing about cell phones, correct? But yeah, I understand the program pays the fees and dues if you agree to be filmed on the show.
