Volks dolls

Does anyone know anything about this doll? It’s stamped 2001 Volks and is about 11” long. 😊 Thanks

Volks is a Japanese company. Your doll is a BJD (ball-jointed doll) called a "Super Dolfie."  They are quite pricey.

I think you are correct that your doll being 11" is a "Dolfie," not a "Super Dolfie." There is a lot of information on the internet about these dolls and it appeared from what I read that yours is an early doll, based on the year on the doll and the smaller size. There is all kinds of customizing of these dolls going on...buying body parts, eyes, wigs, outfits...My head was swimming. I think rosegoldwitch gave very helpful info about where to go for detailed info about these dolls.

There is SO much information on the newer dolls but I have yet to see much info on the older ones. These are very cute dolls and I am in love with all of their clothes and shoes.
