Hi Everyone,
New to the antique doll world, but today I came across this one and thought it was so lovely and well made that I ended up purchasing it 🙂 It appears to have wooden arms and legs, papier mache head/shoulders and kidskin leather body(also with clay? basket). Known as a Milliners Model doll perhaps? Trying to identify age and origin but unable to locate any makers marks. I feel in my gut it is older, possibly mid 19th century but if anyone has more info it would be greatly appreciated 🙂
