Need help identifying a vintage 24 in doll

I believe this doll is from the 50's or 60's.  She is 24 inches tall, rooted hair, sleepy eyes, voice box and jointed knees.  I can not find any ID on her.  Anyone know who she is?  Thank you for your help!

You found her! Thank  you so much!  I have a second doll that looks the same but has no voicebox.  The second doll is wearing Suzy Smart dress jumper and has short hair.  I don't think the dresses were mixed up as I can't see Miss Beauty Parlor being sold with short hair.  Thank you again!

The face looks like a Madame Alexander. The holes are for a crying mechanism; MA did make crying dolls. Hopefully someone will come along who knows exactly which MA this is.

Does the one with the voice box have a battery compartment in the back? If so, you have had a dress swap and possibly a haircut on the one doll.  Miss Beauty Parlor should not have a voice box, but Suzy came out first in 62 followed by MBP in 64. They used up parts in much the way Mattel did with Barbie, so you occasionally see MBP with a tummy grille on the front.

I think you are right and I think Miss Beauty Parlor came with both short and long hair as I found a few on eBay with short hair.  The hair does not look like it has been cut, unless done by a pro. These dolls were kept by my Grandmother and by their age I think they were my sisters.  I can't see my Grandmother cutting the hair.  But I am sure she is responsible for the tea towel diapers!  The voice box did confuse me too.  I wish she had kept the accessories too!  But I am thankful she did keep the dolls.
