Help Identify Mysterious Porcelain Doll

So I used to live in southern Cali, and I lived in a trailer park. Down by every trash bin, there was what was known as a community area. Stuff there was things that either didn’t fit in the trash or were still useable that others could take. One day, I found this doll down there. I didn’t recognize the doll make, but I knew I wanted her. I took her home, and she’s been with me since I was 14.

Fast forward 9 years, 1 state change, and 6 relocations... I realize I know nothing about her.

She has a soft body, but porcelain limbs. Her left foot was broken, then scotch tapped back together. Unfortunately I lost a few things of hers, like her right pinky and her apron, but she still looks cute. I’ve looked her over, head to toe, but there are no artist marks or tags anywhere. Not even on the apron.

Edit: One more thing, she didn’t come with shoes.

Help Identify Mysterious Porcelain Doll

Quite possibly a reproduction of Dianna Effner's Willow. There are still places that sell the kits although the mold was retired around 1999. If she is marked at all it will be high up on the back of the head under the wig.

I took a look at some of their stuff, but from what I can tell, none of them were the same size as her. She's a very big girl, bigger than an american girl doll by about 4 or 5 inches.

Yup, you were right!

I had never considered taking her hair off because I thought it was attached, but low and behold it was just hot glued on. All of her was. Her hair, limbs to the soft body, everything.

After cutting my hand real good, I found her name under the wig. "Willow by Dianna Effner  c1989 The Ultimate *Somthing*"

(Not sure what that something is, It's still covered hot glue, and I already cut my hand once trying to get it off.)
