I have 11" 1930's stuffed Knickerbocker Mickey Mouse doll. He seems to be in very good condition with a jointed head and composition shoes, he even has his buttons. He is missing the tag and one ear is very slightly knicked. What can you tell me about him including an estimate of value? Thank you!

RE: FOOTSTOOLS -

The Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck footstools tend to sell for $35 - $45.

ANSWER:
These sell for $100 - $500; depending upon condition. The composition shoes on your Mickey doll would indicate that it is likely from 1935.

In going through an old box of buttons that my great-aunt collected, I found this pin. Is it an official Disney pin, or counterfeit? I haven't been able to find anything like it on the web. I've included a pic below.

On the front below the figure it reads Andy Anaheim, then under that Walt Disney Productions©

On the reverse is stamped cTo ® Under that is 1/10 and 10K.

Any help you could give me on this cute little button would be greatly appreciated. If it is a Disney button, would you have any idea of the value? The button is a little scuffed and worn.

Thank you for your help!

Adrienne

Hi Dave,

It seems you might have the answers I am looking for.

I recently found a Walt Disney's Tomorrowland Rocket Ride Giant Construction Action Toy by Wen Mac in the original box and wondering what you could tell me about. When it came out, it's value/worth as I am thinking of putting it up for sale on ebay.

Thanks

ANSWER:
"ANDY ANAHEIM" was created by Walt Disney Productions during the 1960's, so that the City of Anaheim would have a mascot to use in publicizing city events. Everyone from the City Water Department to Parks & Rec found "Andy" on their logo / letterhead. The character was also prominently featured in Anaheim's annual Halloween parade as it marched down Harbor & LaPalma Blvd's...

Unfortunately, the pins are not often collected, and tend to have little value. Still... not's a novel collector's item, and worth having to round out any respectable Disney pin collection!

Best wishes,

Hi,
I came across this Mickey Mouse plush and wonder if you can give me any indication of its age or value (if any). As you can see some of the paint is chipped off his nose, and he is in desperate need of a good cleaning.
The face, hands and feet are made of plastic. The tag reads:

All new material PA. Reg. No.18

Any information you can give me would be most appreciated. Thanks so much

Hello,
I am not a Disney collector, but the house I just bought has a Bambi ceiling light glass (a flush-mount style fixture that became popular in the 50's.) I know the current owners have lived in the house since 1947 and had only one child. At that time, this room was probably his, so that dates this fixture back to the early 50's (forgot his birth year- '49 I think.) There are pictures of Bambi all around the glass, and a mark of (c)WDC printed on it. Any info? I can post a pic later if necessary. Thanks!

Small correction to the previous post. The mark shown is not WDC, it is shown like this:

Thanks in advance!

Hi!
I have a small girl's purse in black vinyl in good condition : on the flap that folds over and closes with a twist buckle, there is an outline of minnie mouse in color and at the top of the flap is a 3D head of minnie. Kind of confused? I have a photo I can e-mail.
I would love to know more about this, specifically an era/date and an estimated price?
Thanks,
D.

I have a couple LARGE vintage items from Disneyland which I am considering selling, but don't know what price to ask or where to sell them. One is the center Rocket from the Rocket Jets- it is 30 feet long. I also have a Sky Bucket and part of a Mr. Toad vehicle (one seat from Disneyland-not two seats from Disney World) I could part with. I'm not sure ebay is the best way to market these items. What do you suggest? Thanks, Tracy

ANSWER:
These Applause dolls are not as old as one would think. The zip code indicates that they were made after the mid-1960's... and Applause is usually associated with the early 1980's. We would only appraise this particular doll at $25-$30, although we'll admit not to be specialists in relation to dolls.

These are wonderful fixtures, and we'd estimate the value at $75 - $150. Congratulations on a great find!
